Oral presentations will be of 12 minutes plus an additional 3 minutes for discussion. Presentations and discussion time during Symposia may differ according to a pre-planned program (contact your symposium Chair for details).
Authors must include a slide in their presentation (second slide, just after the title), of disclose of actual and/or potential competing financial interests referring to the last 3 years, including but not limited to: grant support; employment (past, present, or firm offer of future); patents (pending or applied); payment for expert witness or testimony; personal financial interests by the authors, immediate family members, or institutional affiliations that may gain or lose financially through publication of the article; and forms of compensation, including travel funding, consultancies, board positions, patent and royalty arrangements, stock shares, or bonds. Diversified mutual funds or investment trusts do not constitute a competing financial interest. Authors should carefully examine the wording of documents such as grants and contracts to determine whether there might be an actual or potential competing interest.
All presentations need to be uploaded from the Speaker Ready Room where technical staff assist with the upload of your files and provide the opportunity to preview your presentation. Please note, that uploading your presentation in the session room itself will not be possible.
Please bring your presentation on a USB stick and ensure that your presentation is uploaded well in advance (at least 2 hours before your oral presentation). If you are unavoidably delayed, you must still go directly to the Speaker Ready Room.
Do not plan to use your own laptop for presentations. Apple Mac computers will not be provided in any of the ISEE session rooms.
If you intend to use multimedia or similar content in your presentation, make sure with the Speaker Ready Room staff well in advance that your presentation will be running smoothly.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes in advance to your presentation room. Presentation files will be preloaded on the laptops in the individual Conference rooms.
Each session room is equipped with a monitor, beamer, microphone & speakers. Staff will be available throughout the sessions for assistance.

The Poster Information point is open from 07.30 to 13.00 each day as is located in the far right hand side of the Foyer, opposite the internet point. You will be able to find your poster number in the online program, available at the end of August, as well as in the Conference schedule.
Poster sessions will be held daily in the Poster dedicated Areas. Posters are expected to be mounted on poster boards before 08.30 and remain mounted until 18.00. Please ensure you take down your poster at the end of the day, poster still mounted at 18:30 will be discarded. Go to the Poster Info point where Staff will provide you with indications to locate your poster in your designated Poster Area and on the allocated board. Push pins will be provided at the poster info desk in each Poster Area to attach posters to the boards.
Poster viewing time is between 13.00 and 14.15. Presenting authors are expected to be present during this time.
You can have your posters printed in Rome and you can pick them up directly at the Conference venue. Click here to take advantage of this service.
